The Edible Garden at New York Botanical

Throughout the summer and into autumn, The New York Botanical Garden will present The Edible Garden, an exhibition that celebrates growing and preparing great food.

Set across the 250 acre Botanical Garden landscape from 19 June through to 17 October, 2010, The Edible Garden will feature vegetable gardens and displays, demonstrations from food and gardening experts and celebrity appearances.

New York Botanical Garden launches Plant Hunters Resource

The New York Botanical Garden has launched a new online educational resource that brings the wonder of the Botanical Garden’s Enid A. Haupt Conservatory, into homes and classrooms around the world.

The Conservatory is the largest Victorian-style glasshouse in America, displaying plants in diverse natural habitats from tropical rain forests to arid deserts. Plant Hunters is a new web-based tool that provides a virtual exploration of the Conservatory and serves as a dynamic online educational resource in plant science.
